Belphegor: banda anuncia pausa nas atividades até 2012

O Belphegor anunciou hoje, 22, na sua página oficial no facebook que suspenderá suas atividades até março de 2012. O motivo para o cancelamento dos shows já agendados é o estado de saúde do líder e fundador da banda Helmuth.

Segundo a nota oficial lançada pela banda, o guitarrista e vocalista passou por uma recente cirurgia após ter ficado doente durante a turnê sul americana.

Helmuth adoeceu no Brasil enquanto o Belphegor ainda fazia suas primeiras apresentações pelo país ao lado do Ragnarok, e em seguida a banda cancelou um show que faria na Venezuela porque Helmuth foi diagnosticado com infecção pulmonar.

BELPHEGOR FORCED TO STOP ALL ACTIVITIES!!
We have to inform all friends and supporters of Death/ Black Metal titans BELPHEGOR that all activities are stopped since the end of September.

Frontman/ founding member, Helmuth Lehner went through a serious and difficult operation 16 days ago, after the South American tour. As result of this, BELPHEGOR has to cancel all shows until May 2012.
